Pinnacle Fishing Reels

Have you ever been "burned" by buying a fancy "new fishing reel / rod?

Have you ever cheated in the purchase of an All-the-bells-&-Whistles "unmarked reel and learns that only should have stuck with the Big 3 (Shimano, Daiwa, Penn)? I foolishly (to save money) and I paid for "burned" by Okuma, Cabel, BassPro, and (drum roll) Pinnacle! I have a reel of each of these companies had an issue or issues well IMMED or immediately after the warranty has expired! (ARGHHHH!) Any cheaper to buy gear fishing to save money and wish they had "gone with what they knew" to be good?
